Goran Kukić was born in 1956 in Sarajevo, where he graduated from Faculty of Economics, but his career path very early on went in different direction. In 1980 he became a member of Association of applied artists and designers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ULUPUBIH). At the age of 28 he was granted a status of a freelance artist, as the youngest in ex Yugoslavia. The beginning of war in Sarajevo in 1992 moved Kukic and his family to Belgrade, where he got accepted to The Association of Applied Artists and Designers of Serbia (ULUPUDS), in the same year.

Goran exhibited on most of collective ULUPUBIH and ULUPUDS exhibitions.

Most relevant awards:1985 Krakow, Poland, Golden medal for color photography 2003. Sarajevo, April Salon ULUPUBIH, reward for new media 2004. Alexandria, Egypt, Biennale, bronze plaque for new media.

As a member of the traveling exhibition “Travel of 3 Lenses”, together with his colleagues Tomislav Peternek and Igor Mandic, he exhibited in 28 cities in Serbia.
